Specializing in both acute and chronic community and inpatient psychiatric healthcare, Candice excels in working with vulnerable populations and those with comorbid substance use disorders. Her dedication to patient-centered care and extensive expertise make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Throughout her career, Candice has served in various capacities, including supporting mental health for military veterans and active members as a civilian with the Canadian Armed Forces. She has also worked with inmates in a medium-security federal prison. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, Candice provides innovative and effective care tailored to each client’s needs.
Committed to destigmatizing mental health diagnoses and treatments, Candice emphasizes patient education and strives to maximize treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys outdoor activities like boating, fishing, hiking, and camping, as well as knitting, crocheting, and savoring good music, wine, and food.
